Fire your Boss & Hire your Dreams

Dear Fear, I Quit....

Millions of people are looking for way to create additional income to help pay the bills. Others want to get rid of their day job and work from the comfort of home. (I work from home, but still under a company)

There are hundreds of work at home programs to choose from. Some are free, some are free to join and others charge a minimal fee. If you do your research before jumping in it should be relatively easy to find a program that can work for you.

As a work at home part-time blogger, I think the major difference between paid work from home programs and free programs is the organized information you receive. If you are very familiar with the Internet and have a lot of time to spend researching programs and reading forums (if you have time), you can start your work at home endeavor for free.

I think the minimal charge (normally less than $50.00) is well worth the money charged. Time is money. Here are a few things you get, in my opinion with the paid programs:

    * Research programs.
    * Step-by-step guidance on how to perform the task required.
    * Advice on how to avoid the normal pit falls of the market place.
    * Organized, understandable approach to working from home.
    * Customer support  - someone you can ask question of when you need help.
    * Network-link to programs that really interest you
    * Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone
    * Commit to a specific goal and see it through- don't give up easily.

Working from home is very rewarding, Although I work for a company, being at home has it's benefits. I still like to come from underneath the umbrella and be responsible for my own destiny by working for myself. Rules and policies, reporting to work on a set schedule, lunch and breaks when they seem fit...arrggh! But I use it to may advantage. My goal is to employ myself....work at my pace and have no financial caps. Perseverance will soon pay off!

If you're just starting out,I suggest looking into a program with little or no money down with a strong, reliable support system. Jobs are becoming very scarce and companies are closing left and right...look at Hostess. (I still find it hard to believe.) Uncertainties raise the question "what's next?". Being caught off guard and no longer receiving a steady income can be devastating.

Here are a few of the reason people wanted to start for free:

    * No money to spend. Unable to pay their bills currently.
    * Been scammed before.
    * New to work at home and would like to try something before spending any money.
    * Not sure if they had the necessary skill to do what was required.

In doing my research on the web I found work at home opportunities like Online Paid Surveys, Data Entry, Mystery Shopping just to mention a few, are for novices and the pay they promise can be very unrealistic. Try something you're good at; writing, cooking, consulting, woodworking, crafts, etc.. Face it, you didn't get that job just on your looks, but if you did you need to seek modeling jobs. Anyway, your employer believed in you....so why not believe in yourself.
